Getting to us
London - Victoria is central for the traveller. There are many travel links and facilities to the airport, the local urban routes and to the London sights.
Heathrow is one of the world's busiest international airports. It also has very efficient travel connections to central London.
The Underground -
Runs 20 hours a day and reaches all parts of London. Each tube line has a name and has been given a distinctive colour. The underground is separated into six zones with central London including Victoria in zone one. Trains run roughly every three to nine minutes and it takes about 45 minutes to get from Heathrow to Victoria.
To reach Victoria Station catch the Piccadilly line at Heathrow (coloured navy blue) and arrive at Hammersmith station. We advise you to get off at Hammersmith because other stations get too crowded. At Hammersmith catch the District line (coloured green) heading East. You will find the District line tube directly across the platform from where you got off the Piccadilly line tube. This tube will take you to Victoria which is the sixth stop. From Victoria underground follow our map to bring you to Cherry Court Hotel. For additional information visit www.tfl.gov.uk.
By Road -
If you have hired a car from the airport, first get onto the M4 motorway (highway) and follow the signs toward central London until the M4 terminates. Then follow the A4 over the Hammersmith flyover. This then changes into the Cromwell Road, and then into the Brompton Road, where you will be able to see Harrods department store on your right. You will then approach the Hyde Park Corner roundabout. Take the fourth exit and go onto Grosvenor Place (you are now near Victoria Station)- Buckingham Palace is on your left. You have now entered a one-way system. Turn right onto Buckingham Palace Road, follow the road until you see Victoria coach station on your right and turn left on Elizabeth Bridge. Our street - Hugh Street - is the second on the left. Please note there are no parking facilities and there is no on street parking. There is a nearby car park.If you hire a taxi, it would cost around £45-£55 from Heathrow to Cherry Court Hotel.
